As with any large corporate client, Verizon partner products must employ a strict use of design guidelines to remain consistent with the corporate brand. Since this was an ongoing project with several event activations for the app, some happening simultaneously, I created a scaled down design system that would fit as a style guide for any collaborating UI designers or art directors at TriggerXR. In certain cases such as the video player controls or onboarding icons, custom icons needed to be created and were approved by Verizon’s iconography team.

PROJECT BACKGROUND
The Verizon “Future of Training” POC showcased how augmented reality (AR) can elevate traditional 2D instructions in a football playbook into a more engaging and immersive 3D format. The project emphasized collaboration, allowing multiple users to join a session controlled by a moderator for stronger team cohesion and strategy development. Additionally, advanced technologies like edge rendering and 5G streaming allowed for high performance and efficiency. The inclusion of both Local Multiplayer and Single-Player modes, along with an innovative ‘demo mode’, showcased the versatility of the experience, catering to different user needs and preferences.
